Just wondering if any Funsters can suggest an overnight stopover in Grantown.
Don't need any facilities as such just somewhere to rest up on route to Lochinver.
Many thanks

park4night will give you good results........But No travelling in Scotland til after 26th April.
Just remember what Nicola ....Says Goes!!!!;)
Quite right too, as Scotland's lower infection and death rates per million of population show. It's all right for you in the grand metropolis, but in the far flung corners of Burntisland,[and I think we've walked them all], the 'here we go again' daily trudge for the 10,000 steps is wearing thin ;)

Hoping to get our m/home delivered around 15 April, and, never having used one before, and having to rely on video handover, we might be picking your brains or pleading for assistance. And I am a miserable pleader; at least, I think that's what Elaine just said ..

No this is planning for August, availability on sites already tight. Don't want to book a site as we will arrive late and leave early.

Check out Searchforsites , it’s better for the U.K.

While Park4night is good it’s the better of the two for overseas.

Balsporran cottages off the A9 or Dalwhinnie village are possible starters for 10 or if you want to go further down the A889 Creag Meagaidh car park.

You can park up just out of town by the river.

You could also try Littlemill forestry just off the A9 past Moy .
