Overnight stop near Crickhowell (1 Viewer)

Last Friday, on our way back to Cornwall from Pembrokeshire we chanced upon the Kestrel Inn just outside Crickhowell. It has a large flat carpark with a great view, does fabulous food and the landlord is very motorhome-friendly (as long as you patronise his establishment). We had a drink in the beer garden whilst taking in the view, a wonderful meal and then toddled off to the carpark to spend a peaceful night in the motorhome. Mine host is happy for us to publicise his details here and looks forward to welcoming other Funsters. Across the River Usk, into Llangattock, turn left opposite The Horseshoes pub, along to the end off the lane to Powell's Field well Park Farm;

The Horseshoes pub is a short walk for good beer and food.

Also carry on along the A40 to the east of Crickhowell, on the RHS of the road is a large layby, perfect for wilding. Come morning there is a burger van, good Bacon Sarnies and cuppa.
