I don't know how close you want to be to the pier, but if you drive north from the pier, up the hill and join the B3124 by turning left at the junction at the brow of the hill. Follow this road, passing the Walton Park Hotel on the left, and then pass a wide expanse of grass on the left, take the next left down Bay Road and there is a parking area on the left under the trees, or maybe park along the same road. It all used to have no restrictions, but it's 2013 I was there last as my mother used to live there. Best of luck, I hope it helps
Hi I tend to park on the road to the left of the pier and seafront overnight at the location in the photo. A main route but not at all busy at night an always other cars/vans parked in front and behind so don’t feel vulnerable to passing traffic. You’re not near anyone to worry them overnight and I’ve never had any complaints. Then tend to move to the seafront parking by the pier first thing - great spot for breakfast either in the van or the wide choice of seafront cafes.
i never have problems with overnight parking but don’t tend to linger and move even to another local location first thing to help avoid challenges.
