Overnight in Motorhome around Hessle, Hull (1 Viewer)

Hi all
I am attending a 2 day course in Hull so I am asking if anyone knows where I might stay overnight as close as possible to Priory Way, Hessle, which is not too far from the Humber. Many thanks for reading.

Hi.
Its a few years since we lived in Hull,however,when they built the bridge,i think there was a viewing area on the Hull side,if you can work Google Earth (I cannot) have a look see. I am sure i have parked there,when we went back to have a look.Drive in in the morning.

There are 3 car parks/viewing areas along the side of the river on the North side, you can see them in the below the image:

There's also the Country park but I don't know if you are allowed to park overnight in the car park there.

There is a Park and Ride at Priory Way (near Sainsbury`s) if you are only after Parking. Otherwise the nearest Camping would be Closer to Beverely. The Foreshore Car parks BAN camping. (officially!).

There WAS a suggestion some years back the The Truck Park (By the P&R) would allow overnights?. But has as far I can see has been Closed up for Months?. Part of the P&R has height barriers but the access off Henry Booth way does not.

The far end of Henry boot way is industrial. And was unlined, (might be able to park up?) there is also a pedestrian access to somercoates way which has a bus service

Others a carpark next to the inshore lifeboat stayed thare a few times during the week with very few problems.
Only once a young lad with loud music but thay were no problems rely.

Bill might be talking about the one on the south bank side where people often stay, you can see the car park and the small building near the frees on the foreshaw itself where there is a little bit of parking next to the river.

He could also be talking about the 'new' one that is now near the base of the North tower which I think is this one in the centre in the shadow of the bridge:

There is a car park next to the Humber rescue station almost under the bridge. I have seen a couple of vans there. I have only been there through the day though whilst water rescue training. There is a pub nearby.

The pub is now called the country park inn. It might be worth a phone call?. Lots of pubs let you stopover these days usually for Nowt. If you are eating.
