We’re passing through Glasgow today en route to Edinburgh. Does anyone know any over night stops? There’s only one Brit stop listed east of Glasgow (the Falkirk Wheel) and it’s connected to a visitor’s centre to get the keys in opening hours. As it’s a Sunday it may be closed today.
Any alternatives?

Visitor Centre (including toilets) open at 09:30, including weekends. Other venue is Loch Ore at Leven (£10 per night) that has a pair of single cubicle toilets about 15 metres from Motorhome Field, and a newer toilet block attached to the Cafe (Willie Clark Centre) about 150 metres away. Both blocks open around 08:30 IIRC.

Lee garden farm between Carluke and Lanark looks on the the Clyde valley and Lee Castle.

Just to finish off this if anyone is interested. We found two beautiful tranquil wild spots on park4night:
Cumbernauld country park and then
Lake Monteith in the Trussoch hills.
We were the only van each time. Love the free wild camping in Scotland.
