weighed in at 5.5 tons

It looks like a box van to me but worthy of a pull I think 😳

Hi.
Looks like the chap who used to deliver " Wheelbarrows " on a Flat, some years ago...... You could NOT get anymore on,fair play to him. It was like a " Wheelbarrow Pyramid " on the move, how he saw out the cab to drive i will never know... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:🚛🚛🚛

Box van.... And a few child's bikes are going to weight 1500kg to 2000kg.
Bet there was a hell of a lot more inside.

It could be a Moroccan or Algerian visiting his/her ancestrql country.

Bikes are much sought after there and they are superb at making good what we throw away.

That's where your kid's bike ends up if they leave it outside.

Well balanced overload though, I can't see any stabilisers!

So that’s where my grandchildren’s bike went 😂😂

I'd usually agree but most Moroccans usually overload extremely tidily & with a waterproof covering over the roof rack. That's just a shambles asking for a pull.

I’ve seen some horrors over the years the worst was four fridge freezers the long type on the roof of an old van extremely top heavy.

My understanding is that so many of them return over the same period every year that the Police are told to ignore them because the problem is simply too much to handle.

From the artical:-

"The driver, from Tunisia, had been travelling towards Marseille with a view to taking a boat to Tunisia."

He was fine €630 and not allowed to proceed.

I guess that Tunisians are not as tidy as Moroccans, as Gus says.
Lol!

I spoke to a guy that ran a van hire co in the early 90s

They rented a van out , guy comes back with a piece of paper

Your van's been impounded , unroadworthy

What, it's only 6 months old

He'd taken it to France on a booze cruise, got 5 miles out of Dover, got a puncture , got another 5 miles,, got another puncture so the AA attended

Cop car turns up , looks in the van so takes them to a weighbridge

The hight cube 3500gvw transit weight 6750kg

The copper said if he had a can of beer there would've been nowhere to put it in the back of this van
