Looking a Search for Sites. Think of heading to a place saying no service. Over night parking. We will get by with out the services but the over night bit can you get there any time of day and do you think it would be ok to risk two nights without getting hassle from Authorities.

In Spain as long as you are just parking and not doing anything that would indicate you are camping e.g. put out awning, chairs or just a step, you are allowed to stay without problems - unless of course there are signs indicating otherwise. You should be okay for as long as you wish.

We carry a printed copy of the regulations, in Spanish as well as English, which we display in the door window. You can download a copy from Resources (Miscellaneous). Never been challenged but it's a good defense if you are.

If you don’t want to risk hastle, use an aire or a Site. Simple.
If the council ( municipality) permits it, signs will say so, no problem ?

Trying to do a Camino. (Pilgrim route) in some places there are no Aire at the right distance. At the moment we walk 5km of the rout turn round and walk back to van then drive to a site Aire. The next day drive to where we walked and so on It's the driving back and forth that's taking the time.
The Camino is not the most important thing it's just some thing to do while here.
This is all because of a film called "The Way" if you have not seen it.
Watch it great film
