Over-cab Beds

If by chance you had bought a MH with the plastic (bag) covering still on the over-head bed mattress would you take it off or keep it on?

Anyone know what's the up or downside of this situation?

Do you get more or less condensation in that area etc.

Presumably its protecting a new unused mattress.
Take it off when you use it I'd say

I bought 2 new mattresses for single beds off a bloke I know who had had them for a few years & they are still on now & I have had them 7 months.

I can’t imagine having to sleep on a plastic bag, use it as it’s supposed to be used in my opinion and get a good nights kip
