Over 65s in Italy (1 Viewer)

Apologies to those who have read one of the posts I have contributed to Italy threads on the forum in the past.

I had said that all state owned monuments and museums were free for EU citizens of 65 and over.

Well there were 2 years ago, having returned I now find that they no longer are. Now the only concession is that they are free to all on the first Sunday of every month.

I too found this sad change this year. Fair enough, they are skint like the rest of us.
