Oven Igniter Wire

Hi Funsters,

Question regarding oven igniter, ours was working, now it’s not!

On investigation it seems the wire has come out of the back of the igniter, I’ve tried pushing it back in but it just falls back out!

Is there a way of securing this wire in place? Not sure how hot it gets during oven operation therefore good old super glue may not be an option?

If not I’ll just keep using the lighter!

I think they are crimped to the ignitor pin you will have to buy a new one.

Its either crimped or a female bullet or spade connector.
I can’t remember which

If a new one is required I’ll be back to a lighter as the cooker needs taking completely apart to replace it, big job for little gain!
