Just a quickie! Has anybody recommendations for a patio heater when pitched, gas or wood but gas preferable.

Unless you've literally got money to burn I suggest you re-think ... gas ones are expensive to run and IMV not that good; you're unlikely to be allowed to have a 'log' one on a campsite. Better to wrap up warm or get an electric 'fleece throw' which you can plug in to keep you snug.
