They were doing great and so handy if the battery on your scooter went flat. It also shows how much Gus is learning from Gabby.

I used to love walking in the Galloway forest when my dad lived there we used to go out for hours and never see another person.

They do, Gabby in particular is so focused, you can see that if you watch any of the videos and she constantly looks back to check I am still there.

Reminded me of when the kids were little and we went sledging.
Me, two lads, two Labradors, one sledge.
To get to our sledging hill we had to cross a flattish field. I was pulling the two lads on the sledge when I had a brilliant idea. Why not get the dogs to pull them?
So having tied the two labs to the sledge, the two dogs sat down puzzled why I had tied them up. So I set off running shouting come on to the two dogs.
Worked a treat, worked too well as I soon realised they were running faster than me. So I tried to run faster while looking behind me at the ever nearing dogsleigh. Running harder and faster, and faster, faster.
Then Wallop!
I had run into the dry stone wall at the edge of the field. I fell down as the sledge wizzed past inches from my face. The lads laughing and the dogs barking.
Two broken ribs and months of being called “Sledger” at work.
