I’m always telling our Tilly to shut up, she’s a terrier and barks a lot and I wear hearing aids which makes it worse, I’ll miss it like hell when she goes, you have my sympathies.

My wife was a nurse used to seeing people die/laying them out -but when our little cavalier Benji passed away the vet came to put him to sleep she was heartbroken and cuddled him for ages after still-not wanting to loose him.Says she couldn't go through that again. We have a 20 year old cat who we would be lost without-that's the problem with animals.
