Only just read this thread but really chuffed that Scrumpy is on the mend

If she's anything like our Charlie she might want to stay on the chicken & rice diet

She's really picked up today, I hand fed her chicken & rice which Pat had cooked for her, gave her some pain killer meds and anti biotic tablet this was dinner time. This afternoon the window cleaner came and she gave him a good barking and tail wagging session, I took her on a short walk and now she's unconscious at the side of me.

Once again thank all you wonderful people for all your kind words and messages it's really appreciated, all's we get off the vets is "you do know she's an old girl" We know this but as long as she's fairly fit and comfortable then hopefully we can have the pleasure of her love and company for a few years longer.
