Had a lovely few days with JJ and Frankie at Quinta Majay!

We knew it was going to be interesting escaping from the field and decided to get off on Friday rather than leaving it till Saturday morning when we were due to leave for Spain.

Good job we did!

Oh dear...I always thought people over-wintered in Spain and Portugal for the sun and now I am devastated.....they obviously over winter because they went over for a fortnight and got stuck in a forest somewhere and had to wait for the rains to stop and the ground to dry out.............

Always good to see someone else with mud on them But I agree rear wheel drive may have been better.. but not nice getting stuck in the mud

I am taking a very short break from an unusually very busy time for me (working on a dvd box set we are producing) to draw Funsters attention to some facts.

1) It was BRILLIANT having Rex and Marie to visit and I/We await the arrival of the next lot with happiness...

2) A few hours after PP left, the sun came out and stayed out for a couple of days. Ok, it is not swimming temperature but it is November...

3) We were charged €20 for the tractor and the driver...

Now I know the price I will be offering the same service to other Funsters at €50 a time...

You need to be a bit carefull about those 2 Eucalyptus trees JJ The pace they can grow at you will park up and leave it for a couple of weeks and then it'll be too late. You will be stuck there for the foreseeable. Time to get a chainsaw revved up.. Either that or get a 40 tonne slew and I will pop down and sort it all for you. I have got a licence to drive one
