Came through Oistreham at 9pm yesterday, from the Pommiers site roundabout and into town loads of police and migrants (all young men).
The car park by the fish market was just police cars, migrants and 1 motorhome parked centrally. The restaurants looked very quiet, we would normally have been there earlier to go for a meal, last night, straight through into the terminal. I don't know how long the businesses will be able to hold on with the obvious trade reduction. Such a shame for all concerned, the town and the migrants.
Brittany Ferries up to their usual of sticking motorhomes where they could squeeze them in on the freight deck (Deck 3) after loading, then offering no assistance to get to the stairs or helping those struggling, very poor service.
