Yo all

Just had to share, had our first "off piste"! experience last night, currently holidaying in Orkney and we stayed in the car park at Point of Buckquoy (most NW tip of Orkney Mainland) Great spot, quiet and suprisingly level, blocks not needed, absolutely stunning setting.

He stewart, know the place you are talking about , we went there last year when we toured the Orkney's.
Little puzzled with your heading "Orkney Mainland" the Orkneys are islands mainland is from John o Groats to Lands End !!
ps hoped you visited Skarra Brae as it is truely awesome to think that it is older than the Pyramids !!::bigsmile:

We know the Shetlands fairly well having had to catch our Faroes ferry there for some ten years and most people refer to the major island amongst a group as the "mainland". But, interestingly, if you look at that spot on Orkney on google you will spot a motorhome sitting there, p'raps it was yours? :Smile:
