Spent a great day at Orford, Suffolk today. Lovely village, even a castle however the highlight was a trip to Orford Ness National Trust site.
Fascinating place, now a nature reserve but a former Ministry of defence nuclear research facility.
Limited to approximately 150 visitor's a day via a 10 minute ferry crossing.
Very large car park with easy access. Signage also states 24 hr parking allowed , cost £10.
Has any Funster stay overnight, there's even toilets onsite.
Couldn't see any signage that banned overnight camper parking.

The castle is worth a look as well. Plus the fish smoking place
