Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good campsite in the UK with onsite fishing, preferably Barbel fishing.

Lucksall near Ross on Wye. River Wye runs down one side of the park, excellent barbel fishing, but the site only sell day tickets for the opposite bank which involves a bit of a walk. You have to get day tickets for the bank in the park from a tackle shop in Ross or Hereford but it's worth it.

Unicorn Inn, Hampton Loade, Bridgnorth.
That stretch of the Severn is known as Barbel alley.

Thanks for the info everybody
We have actually been to Lucksall and you’r right Bob it is a fantastic site, the facilities are second to none.
The fishing is pretty good too.
I’m checking out the sites at Bridgnorth, the fishing looks spot on, just trying to get some info re toilets and showers etc.

At the riverside there's no facilities only ehu and waste but good fishing spot

We stayed here a couple of years ago.

It is at Newbie, near Annan just over the Scottish border and I think it is an old MOD ammunition site and has about 8 big lakes.

When we were there, they were building, I think, a new shower room. There is also well stocked tackle shop

If you can't eat the fish you catch, there are always these beauties.....
