Hey,

Has anyone used www.roadtrippers.com? We're planning a multiple stop tour of the south east UK in April, this site looks good as it lets you put in all your locations, offers recommendations from the map on popular attractions nearby and even attempts to calculate fuel costs but it's clearly aimed at US audience and wondered if anyone had found a UK equivalent?

So far the majority of our trip planning has been using google maps and a shared Word doc with notes on places we'd like to visit, but I'd prefer something a bit more slick (maybe with an app for my phone).

Not sure it's what you're after but, we use Broken Link Removed
The website and associated phone app integrate pretty well and you can enter in all the stuff you mention above. Been using it for well over a year now. Pretty handy!

I have been using for navigation the (paid for) App called Sygic for many years on my phone. You can buy all the world maps plus lifetime traffic (only have to download those that you want) for £16.49 at present. This includes free lifetime updates of software and maps. They do versions for Android and IOS.

They have recently announced a free web based planning tool for multi stop trips where you can preplan it all on your computer and then move it across to the app on your phone. I have not yet tried it so do not know how good it is. We probably will not bother using it as we try not to plan more than a few hours ahead when we are away!
