Lots but slow learner.
Who/what is the best online company to buy bits from. Mirror protectors, mud flaps, cupboard racks for plates, glasses etc etc.

It will vary by item. I always look at Amazon, eBay and then do a Google shopping search as well

I look on amazon for their excellent user reviews then goto ebay for a better price. (Sometimes I buy on amazon though if I've got a prime free trial running 😎)

I've also bought off Banggood and Aliexpress with about a 2 week wait from China, the apps work well and inform you of the delivery progress.

In this case eBay by a mile 👍

Shop a lot on Amazon. Don't shop on Ebay.
Was wondering if there was a store that sold all the bits that i had not heard of.
Deffo the Milenco for mirror protectors.

If by 'best' you mean cheapest I can't help much but these are my 'Goto' suppliers whose service is excellent.

If you want mirror protectors get the genuine Mirrorguards, there are the only ones that really work but they are around £130.

Just had a quick look at that Leisure Outlet place, looks good. Will study later Ta.

you got the new van then Bob, what did you get, Im looking at the autograpgh 794 T at Spinneys

Lots of genuine businesses sell on eBay.
Not disputing that, i would agree. There are also a lot of iffy company's. What we have experienced a few times is the ease or not of returning or refund if item is not as described.

Completely agree with your returns comment. If I'm unsure about an item I always buy from Amazon, their returns system is quite amazing, free returns, no label to print and money back in my account about 30 seconds after handing over the parcel.

I've returned quite a few items bought on eBay, absolutely no problems at all, as good as Amazon and quite often cheaper due to free postage.

Remember i am dead unlucky, i had a rocking horse and it died. Had too many issues returning so would rather not.

defo, the screening procedure to sell isnt like other market places, Its called flea bay for a reason.
Although it has got better lately the dodgy ones are still a plenty on there, I guess one of the reason is lots of folk still think "ebay...cheap" so could be more willing to fall for "cheap" to good to be true scams.
Amazon returns procedure for me has been the bee knees

I use Ebay a lot. If you consult feedbacks etc before purchase you should not have too much trouble. On the one occasion we bought a wheel with a goodctyre only to find it was an MOT fail our money was returned as soon as the supplier received the wheel back.
As I said in another post I'm alergic to Amazon for lots of resasons, they are only a middleman taking an obscene ammount in discount from supplier, not to mention tax

To add my bit, selling on e bay is now such a mare( change of the way e bay collect and hold your money) and buying, in my opinion only, is now such a lottery…..not worth the stress

So much so, i have closed my e bay account of 22 years

Amazon returns policy is so comfortable, money back in your account when you free post it

if you eventually buy a Hymer, then you get a discount from Leasureshopdirect
Brownhills is another place that has a lot of stuff at reasonable prices

Just two recent examples of iffy EBay companies.
1/ Spotted a garden chair with sun canopy and ordered.
Received the sun canopy without chair.
2/ A work colleague spotted some plastic repair cartridges at a better price than our usual supplier, ordered.
Received a product that wouldn’t work, way outside the sell by date.

The people that defend Ebay generally are the people selling on there.
Over the years i have bought and sold on Ebay.
I had one guy threaten to sue me because i wouldn't let him have the item (Porsche) at less than reserve price because he was the highest bidder.
