One for us old farts who have been around computers too long.

Get real, people!

Not even my first Acorn computer, but I had (and still have) one of the first Acorn ARM computers.
You are all still using an updated version in your phones today.

And I am still using another updated version of the ARM in this Raspberry Pi.

You are obviously not an old fart who has been around computers too long then :D (y)
I am a really old fart...... qualified as a marine eng. in early 70's....... and I really now can't understand modern technology and have a deep respect for 'oldies' who manage to get their heads around stuff that to be honest back then was just 'magic'..... swmbo who I met in 1970 when she was 15.... trained to be a computer programmer with I.B.M. even she is now lost !!!!

I have to admit I now struggle having not been working in the field for about a decade. Things move on so quickly plus what I used to do virtually with my eyes shut, I now really have to think about and sometimes look up things that I used to know well. ☹️ Really is a case of use it or lose it.

I still smirk when I see a reference to Peek and Poke 😂

I always enjoyed requirements analysis and system design more than programming so as soon as I had the chance, about 40 years ago, I moved from managing software development teams into business analysis. Far easier :-)

In 1978-79 a mate was saving up for a Tandy TRS-80 and I can't believe I told him not to waste his money as it will never catch on. Regularly had to drag him out of Tandy shop in town as he was obsessed. The Sinclair ZX range started my obsession shortly after. Kids don't know what they're missing today with bulletin boards, cassette downloads, hard disks the size of washing machines etc
