I wonder if I can pick your brains, I am installing a water filter system in my Hymer B644, I want to incorporate a illuminated latching switch. As my taps are operated from micro switches & the micro switch feed for the sink is next to where I want the filter tap am I able to tap the new switch into the existing micro switch?Would you let me know which wires go where.
Here is a link to the switch pin out diagram

Thanks in advance

Live side of you existing switch on to common
Switch side of your existing switch on to N/O

This makes the switches parallel so either one closing will start the pump

For the illumination loop off N/O onto LED + and a Negative from anywhere on to LED -

EDIT nice idea BTW :thumb: must remember though to switch the pump off before closing the tap

or simply leave the tap open and control flow via the switch....cant go wrong then.

Actually John that is not the way to go
If the tap is left open then water will pump through it when operating the other tap

Techno100 thank you

Just to say thank you to Techno100, I followed the switch wiring instructions you gave me & fitted the filter & switch today. All working fine with no leaks at all.
Another job I can cross off my list. Can't wait to get away now.
Since I bought the M/H in Oct 2013 I have fitted a Gasit system (2x11kg cylinders & auto change over)
A 165kw solar panel & MPPT controller, changed all interior lights (excluding 2 fluorescent tubes) with led bulbs.
SOG through the floor kit. Additional 12v accessory sockets & fused distribution point in the "entertainment" cupboard.
And had Eddie fit a strikeback & Growler system.
Removed flaking paint from sat dish arm & repainted it.

I think I deserve a rest now!
