Omnistor side step (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone can anyone tell me how to take apart a omnistor electric side step to clean and lubricate as mine is sticking and will not close or open properly with out a good push with the foot to help it along

Hi Ray the omni step is sold as a maintenace free unit all bearings are sealed or nylon
However I would take step off the van completley and have a go, but thats me can you remove any plates to see whats happening as from memory ther in like a closed box afair

Thats exactly whats I'm seeing when I look underneath just not sure if it would all fall apart if I took the bottom plate off it.:Sad:

Hi Ray thats why I would go for complete removal, there may well be components fixed to the bottom plate that will prevent removing just the plate, or it may well go into the famous Chinese self destruct spring ,boyng rattle, where did that gomode
