omnistep trouble (1 Viewer)

I have a swift with a single slide out omnistep. just lately it seems to really struggle to go in and out, The battery is ok does anyone have any other ideas:ROFLMAO:

also check the electrical connections for corrosion.

If corroded, cut off and make new ends, reconnect and coat with petroleum jelly or similar.

i agree with wildman, a good clean-up and grease where needed will sort it.

the motor isnt really very powerful and corrosion will really make it work hard ans slow.

I have had 2 step switches fail on my Swift in 4 years, if it turns out to be the switch don't buy one from a caravan dealer, they are much cheaper from a general car shop, I have seen the same switch sold as a window switch and the price difference was £0.60 to £5.40.
