Spotted these FB selling pages.
Nice to see someone has taken the time to restore them (y)

Looking Great! Really good to see them looking so good.

But! (and there is always a BUT isn't there?) Maybe they would be worth a bit more if they were left unrestored.

They look lovely! If I had a youngster I would love him to have a bit of the classical past like that!

In some ways I agree, as they appear over-restored but when I see dinky/corgi cars of the sixties in a box unmarked I just think - what a shame no one ever got to play with them, rather than they are worth Ā£xxx.

The old argument between "conservation" and "restoration". :)

Gotta agree with you Mr C , as a collector of diecast I admit I go for the unplayed and boxed rather than the "sandbox model" in most cases. I do however sometimes see a model that is A1 without a box , or even a an A1 box without the model.
Once bought an immaculate M/Box F/lift in the market at Chesterfield for 50p, and a couple of months later found an immaculate box in a Collectors Fair in Sydney Aus for 50c, placed one to the other, now worth $75

When I was at a motorbike collectors meet recently I was amazed at how many motorbikes there were from the 1900+ when I remarked how good they all looked to my friend he replied that 80 percent were basket case's 20 years ago ie a pile of bits so without the enthusiast the would not even be there out of nearly 200 bike's there are only a few original bike's but I was pleased they were there for everyone to view

To be honest if we only had 1 grandson I'd buy the blue one.

Why donā€™t you buy it and keep it at your house do they can all play in it there when they visit ?

Seem to have a house full of unused toys @Ralph-n-Bev :(
from rocking horses to treehouses school desks Hornby train sets
When the kids got married and moved out we maintained their rooms.
Now we're thinking about down sizing we've just got too much stuff

Ours arenā€™t at that stage yet . Still all in early 20ā€™s . Iā€™ve kept some toys of theirs and weā€™ll take those to Pickering when we move/ downsize there . But we wonā€™t be maintaining rooms when they move out . Itā€™ll be redecorate to sell !

Weā€™ve not got any grandchildren yet . So weā€™ve got all that to come , hopefully.
My brother had a blue and white car like that . I remember him playing it in his knitted balaclava haha

Think that's the attraction with old toys I remember having a black & white one as a kid living in Manchester probably had a knitted balaclava as well
