It's what we came for, actually not too bad, 50 euros for two with a bottle of wine although Julie had the chicken.You must have pushed the boat out, to pay for that meal in that place.

last time I ordered a steak in France I asked the waiter to take it back to the kitchen as I wasn't a lion

It's only a cultural difference. But it has to be labelled properly so you know what you're eating and can make an informed choice.
And I'm jealous of where OP is at the moment!
Honfleur is very attractive , very expensive - small beer and a bottle of water = 9.50 euros 5 years ago

I have had horse in France. Very nice though I recall it was pricey.

Iām a Horse lover, owned & worked with them all my life but I cannot see why we shouldnāt farm Horses for meat etc.
Ok not Blood Horses or rare breeds but there are so many āalso ransā out there that to farm horses would in the long term save the specials!
