I'm a newbie
I've chosen my van & now I'm trying to kit it with stuff I need - I'm looking at how to keep cool at night, does anyone have any suggestions please?

We have a fantastic vent, switch it to extract open roof vent and side windows on vent setting in bedroom, & when the temp drops it turns it's self off.
We also are fine up to 30° at night.

We have a Maxxfan fitted and love it.

Quiet enough to leave on over night (on low power) and can be left open when raining without getting wet. We leave it on all the time.

I honestly would wait and see once you get the van @Angela Giddins . It is very easy to get carried away with buying kit before you really know how the van will work out and what works for you.

Most of us have a shelf/cupboard/garage full of kit we thought we needed but have ditched as surplus to requirements :)

Sleep nuddy and put your side windows on night light with the mossie blinds up.
Get a 2 Tog quilt and if it gets really warm, sleep under a king size double sheet.

A few years ago at the Stratford motorhome show, first night I realised I hadn't put the bedding back in the van.
Reasonably warm day...... Had to put heating on all night, bloody frozen.
New duvet next day.

See how it goes before fixing problems which may not exist.

Stop the van getting too hot in the first place, silver screens fitted, park in shade, windows
open with towels over to stop the sun shining in the van.

I can see you're in the shade of something casting a shadow exactly the same shape as your van and awning.... That was a lucky find. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Best advice that.
The windscreen is so important, get it covered with external screens, park in the shade if possible, cover windows, it makes a massive difference.
Then we use a fan endless breeze.

I've been trying to buy an Endless Breeze and I can't find one anywhere. Has anyone any ideas please on where I can get one or a good alternative.
Thanks.

Drink a bottle of your favourite tipple, neat, with ice if you like, then you out like a light, with not a care in the world.:sleep::sleep:

But seriously you heave given some good advice thus far, should of course you decide to ignore mine that is?
Happy travels, have Fun.
