As a temporary fix use a good quality cable tie, tightened with pliers and you are good to go.

I recently replaced a dodgy mass air flow sensor, so I had all that pipework apart. The screws in the airbox had already been Dremelled to extract them once, so now they've got long wood screws in there for now. The Clic-R hose clips were a pain. I got 2 done back up again, but the other 2 ended up mangled. I replaced them with jubilee type clamps.

Roofing bolts are a good idea, proper head and will be corrosion proof too.
I’ll remember that one for the future !

Dont argue!
These are what I have used, I opened the holes in the lid to 5.5mm then drilled a 4mm pilot in the base and wound the screws in first. So easy to use exactly what Fiat should have used. The ten 5.5 x 38mm screws cost me €3. Just needs an 8mm socket to drive them in. A flexible or angled drive on the drill was useful as hoses get in the way of two of the holes.
