I give up. I changed the oil in the van a little while ago, but now the service indicator has come up on the dash (2011 Fiat ducato) telling me to change the oil. Hooked up OBII reader, but can't find anything in there to reset it.
Does anyone know how to tell the van to shut up, I've done it?

No idea, sorry.

But your average non specific OBD reader wont extinquish service lights.

There will be a way turning ign on and off in sequence and someone will be along with the correct sequence.

I believe it will self extinguish after a number of miles but I cannot be specific about how many.

Indeed, there is a weird sequence in my car, which I know off by heart (brake and accelerator pressed, turn on ignition and then press trip reset, challenge down what car is it? :D )
I have scoured the internet for the correct sequence, but have failed :-(

There isn't a sequence for the X250 series

Just stick one of these over the light.

Thanks for all the replies. I have found someone who has access to a Fiat service reset key, so it'll be sorted soon. :D

If its the Spanner light it does go off after so many miles (sorry not sure how many) but I had a similar issue. The Van was serviced but according the the Dealer they cant reset the service intervals so the light came on after a month but then went off after a while.
