Just waiting for Nikki to finish work and I'm off to Anglessey to run in the coastal path ultra trail series... 17 miles over some welsh mountain area around the peninsular...

Got about 4 inches of snow outside, got me snow chains on to get out me drive oh:

Staying at a CL 7 miles from the start and the owner has offered me a lift to the start so I don't have to take the toad.. How nice is that?

Anyhow, got all my kit together whistle, compass, maps,OMM jacket, Skins, trail running shoes, thermal base layer, flare, but

Will I need my passport?

Never been to the isle before and I believe there's some strange folk come from over that way

your making a fairly large assumption that you will be allowed in...Mrs H may well have to sign all sorts of things stating you wont interact with the locals (human or sheep), and that you will leave on Sunday or Monday at the latest.

Have you ever run in snow boots/shoes before...you might well need em by tomorrow

Dont be expecting a good time though - you havent got your mojo's with you this time

PS Don't be alarmed at the black clouds and thunder an lightning - Shiftzz is on the island at the mo so its quite normal

Should be stunning with the snow on the mountains, though you will probabbly need to watch where you are putting your feet, though noticed this morning Shiftz said they had no snow earlier on, so maybe not to bad.

Safe running and have a brilliant time, but watch out for the dragons they are Red so easy to spot.

Battled the weather.got 30 miles forgot jacket had to go back home and puck it up...battled the snow wind and accidents spent 6 hours in transit.....only for them to call it off at the last moment....not agood start to my 5 days off lol at least I'm a very nice .cl for the weekend
