After carrying out a lot of work on my 1992 RMB Motorhome this winter, it is now time to put the RMB to good use.

My wife and i are passionate Skiers, so we are going to drive the RMB down to Mayrhofen in Austria next week for 2 weeks skiing.

We are going to go, Dover to Dunkirk with DFDS got a good deal at ÂŁ64 return, then pick up Belgian and then German motorways, we are travelling through the night, so it should be much quieter on the roads.

We have two blown air heaters in the RMB and i have bought a 400w/800w halogen heater off Ebay as back up. We are staying at Mayrhofen campsite which is close to the town centre and will have electric hook.

Hopefully nothing will go wrong with the van, if it does we have full ADAC cover.

Really looking forward to this trip now

I'm new
Just got back from that area, you won't be cold. I was walking around in a t-shirt on Saturday. There is no snow left in the valleys, the snowline has been getting higher by the day so your best bet might be the Hintertux Glacier.
