We spent a very pleasant 3 weeks in September, touring the Dordogne area then the west coast and all point back to the tunnel.

We are off again tomorrow, spending a few days at Maisons Laffitte to explore Paris. Thinking of going to the Champagne region, but having looked through related threads and noted some places; I would welcome any additional suggestions. Anywhere with an good view or interest near by, could be surrounding area no plans as yet.

Stayed at Camping Maisons Lafitte last year and found it a pleasant riverside base and very convenient access to Paris. Enjoy your travels.
