Anyone use this? Just bought 2 bottles of "Millers VSP Plus" as the "old girl" does not like the current pump petrol and is a LOT happier with this.

Anyone used it in the past?

Concerned when I convert to dual fuel about the Valve seats.Got an injector device to add lube then.:thumb:

Good stuff used extensively in motor sport standard classes, as an Octane booster not a lot, as lead replacement it works
Geo
Go get your valve seats done tight git:Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

:Eeek:Have you any idea of how much that'll cost!!!

Plus the engine strip. My feeling is, if it's working fine, leave well alone.

Will take a lot of miles and gallons to recoup that cost.

Plus my other car requires it as well.:thumb:

We used to use the Millers VSP in our old race car that did not have hardened seats.
I thought Mopar would have been on hardened seats by the early to mid seventies.
If it's just an octane booster you need, the Lucas oils booster gives more octane points than the Millers IIRC.
I use the Lucas Booster in our 69 Cougar

edited to correct lousy speeling

I'd have thought so too but I guess I'm playing it safe.

I have looked at just octane boosters and thanks for the recommendation.:thumb:

The motor just does not like regular octane unleaded.

Well she definately runs smoother on pickup with this.I used some Redex fuel additive prior to this and it seems to have cleaned the gunge out of the carb jets.

The starting is now instantaneous as well.

We'll see how it goes next weekend.
