we will be collecting our first motorhome soon from Feiburg in Germany and are planning the journey home.

Not wanting to travel to far on the first day after the hand over and a trip to a camping shop, this looks like a good first night, 25 km west of Strasbourg.

Has anyone used it or have any recommendations near here?

For our first night in a motorhome we'd prefer a camp site

Used the site twice and it's fine. Short walk into town (try the rhubarb meringue pie from the bakers). As with lots of French sites it closes for a couple of hours at lunchtime. Train or bus into Strasbourg is also good value.

Another option is the indigo site in strasbourg. New site, excellent facilities and on the tram route into town.

@Binky .. thanks for that, were not wanting to go into Strasbourg (that's where we bought the motorhome!) All we need for the first night is somewhere to unpack purchases, learn about the van and feel safe!
