Hi, lots of motorhomes here in SUNNY Oban C&CC, (got to do the washing) any funsters here or nearby,
must be breaking your heart ..
I know the camp site to the south, Oban Caravan Park .. was there a couple of years ago camping, lovely site..
and the one at North Ledaig, CC site, also been there with the RV .. but where is the C&CC site ?
What's the Midge Season in Oban?
We were at the CC site North Ledaig last week, midges just starting, none on site but a few around the castle up the road, in the woods and by the water.
Well we are Gairloch and it's p***ing it down and gales, we had to change position because of the buffeting, might move a day early. Been to north Ledaig and we have a cabin that area, should have gone there instead.
You mean for once Glasgow is not the wettest or coldest:Rofl1: its 21c here today
Lucky you, daughters texting from Edinburgh hottest day of the year so far  Just means we'll have to drink more to drown out disappointment of weather or if I was home in the sunshine, drink more to quench thirst, being Scottish you know. :Rofl1:
If your moving and need somewhere to hook up, we r 9 mile outside Glasgow and can move our mh so u can have free elec, water etc. Train to Glasgow is 18 min and a 1 mile walk.
Its just past the village of Barcaldine, near the sea life centre, we're the only place in the UK where its chucking it down, and the midges are not troublesome yet,
Oh what a lovely offer, we waiting to see how we feel in the morning, we paid for 3 days but we'll see what weather is like. We were traveling home on Sunday anyway and once we are on the road with home in sight we will probably just do the 6 hours but thanks again for the offer. :thumb:
Update sun just came out in Gairloch. :Rofl1:
sun just disappeared in Argyll :-(
Went through your village yesterday and stayed off the road just past Kilmelford,
The scenery that area is beautiful, lucky Bat21
