Hi guys suggestions on decent site in oban please. At luss at moment regards steve thanks in advance

North Ledaig CC site is a favourite of ours

Loch side pitches if you get lucky, good level hard standings, nice walk along to the river past airport

Another vote for N Ledaig..

if you want a bit cheaper.. and more basic, there is another site just up the road at the top of the loch..

turn left in the village at the primary school..

can't recall the name.. here it is on the map..

just a short walk to a lovely beach.. usually deserted..

Note.. and heed..
We advise that you don't use a SatNav to find our campsite. Using the postcode in a SatNav
has always directed people down a back road, not the most direct way to the campsite. The
back road has now been blocked off and is a dead end with no space to turn.

To find us from Oban town centre is simple!
Follow signs to the ferry terminal which is well signposted in the town.
Go straight past the entrance to the ferry terminal and continue down that road (Gallanach Road)
We are located on Gallanach Road, 2.5 miles from the ferry terminal.

@stephen harwood We are on the Oban C&CC site at the moment, Its 6 miles from Oban but it on the Bus route.
The beach over the road is not up to much but the site is fantastic.Situated inside a walled garden, friendly wardens and very clean toilet block.
The walks with the dogs are stunning.

We'll be at North Ledaig in 10 days, been going there for over 20 years now, fine site.

Used this one two years ago. Quite easy to find , goods views and from memory not too expensive. A good walk or short cycle ride from the town.

We have used Rosieview Caravan Park a couple of times and it is VERY convenient for the ferries.
