want to go to and try a few laps at the end of the month, any of the funsters advice on sites etc ?
Do you reckon you can beat Sabine Schmitz time in the Tranny in your Burstner ?
Wow, going round in your van? thats the way to do it.
Been on my old bike a couple of times., very scary but great fun.
no advice on camping im afraid but I do recall wuite a few campers at the crash hotspots parked up for more than the day. :thumb:
No Brian, not in't Burstner or my bike
Enjoy it a lot. I guess a masochistic pleasure, 90% pure fear 10% adrenaline buzz.
What must it have been like in the days of Fangio, loads of horse power, but no brakes or grip.

That Brian would be such a good idea for a meet, a couple of laps in your motorhome, we could have the first ever motorhomefun race. Im off to get mine chipped now:BigGrin:
I'd like a lap or two on my bike but they'd be very slow laps, there is no way you can turn up and thrash it round that place unless you have a serious death wish. Trouble is, now, with MH, bike is at home and I don't want the hassle of a trailer.
A lap or two in a good car would be even better, at least you probably get to walk away from that.
I did a lap in 22minutes 11 seconds in a 1993 Hymer S700 non-turbo. It was great fun. We were doing the Mosel at the time and just popped up for the day.
I'm going on the 23rd September, got two sessions booked on 25th & 26th.
I won't be putting the RV round though, I'm trailering the race car.
Not sure where I will park the RV, somewhere close I hope.
My German service guy done a lap in his T4 for a laugh.
This is on my to-do list, I've a stripped out manual 530
I might be visiting in about 3 weeks time - depending on work...
