Probably a dumb question, but we have a series of large black numbers (and letters I think) on the roof of our MH. We think the previous owners had a tracker installed. Are the numbers part of this? Sister and brother in law have just had their MH nicked, so trying to up our security.

Usually done so that police helecopters can identify stolen vehicles easily if reported to them.

DOH! Didn't think of that. Yes I think its their complete post code. Not a great deal of use when we're about 250mls south!

Excellent idea as long as it is not your own postcode as that tells anyone on a motorway bridge that you are on holiday and that your house is empty and awaiting burglars! The best advice seems to be to have your registration on the roof but that assumes that the police have the resources to look so probably only any good if yours was registered in an even year.

If you've got room for large letters, you've got room for more solar panels (y)

So you could either be fired at, or landed on from a great height.

I'm with Jim, ie, space for more solar. (y)

    Cheers,

    Jock. :)
