Does anybody know where I can buy the small rubber buttons (nubbings) that sit around the hob which the glass hob cover sits on?

I’m paying cash

The Mrs has just pointed out it was the sink not the hob!!

I thought that chicken was taking a long time to warm through!

Just check which you have, I believe some are just basic covers that simply pop over the screw heads, whereas others have a bit that goes under the screw to which the cover fits.
