After a 300 mile drive we arrived here about 5pm, should have gone to the free aire that's all I can say. Who ever designed this had never driven a motorhome. Tight entrance with an overhanging roof off reception to catch you out, (it didn't) pitches big enough but trees at the front of every pitch on either side makes getting in hard with the spread of their branches, which in some case has reduced the pitch size by half. stupid! And the Price €32 inc leccy! €5 less without. No drive over dump so nowhere even for the euro's to dump grey.

On the plus side I have just had a glass of plonk so all's well with the world.

I did read a couple of years ago that it wasn't the best so we stopped on the free air, bus turned up in the morning and took us into town(y)

It does all look better when you have your feet up and a glass of wine though, Zaragoza is nice(y)

We used to stay when it was first opened and were new to motorhomes. Expensive, dusty so we prefer the free stopovers at Carinena. Never mind make the most of it and you will know for next time.

Only been there on a motor bike so, stayed in town. Love the place, will definitely go back when we are in a position to go further away again.

Last year we paid something like €25/night in April. Got a bit of a shock at €32 - reception explained, high season rates start from beginning of May.

There is a grey water dump near the exit gate (on the RHS) - probably intended as a carwash.

The entrance lane is narrow with a tight turn. Whilst I was in reception a Brit decided to jump to the front of the queue and hit my wingmirror in the process damaging the cowl surround. Did a temporary repair and the guy did offer to pay for the damage, which I accepted.

Will definitely be staying at the aire next time.

Don't remember paying that much for the hotel with underground parking

Many of the Spanish campsites are very tight with trees in all the wrong places! We’ve turned up at quite a few and driven off again. We always try and have a plan B. Do you have ACSI OP? That can reduce the cost on some campsites.

The Aire at Jaca is free and really nice.

A number of people have mentioned the free aire in Zaragoza - there are a few on Campercontact (none of which get great reviews), so can someone tell me where the nice free aire is please?

If in this area it is worth a stopover in Logrono. Free aire; 1km walk into town past winery and over 60 pinchos (tapas) bars, all washed down with rioja at 60c - 150c per glass. Had to try the pigs ears (bit glutinous) and pigs face (think crackling) along 4/5 more stops (mushrooms, prawns, fish, peppers). More of the same tonight.
