Made a massive mistake today took a new Monaco out for a test drive. It had a Cummins 325 pusher Allison 6 speed box and was a twin sofa twin slide model 34ft long.

It was fantastic, so easy to drive and so much power now I feel sick as a parrot cos ****I Want One****

Seriously what a great bit of kit I did'nt think it could be so different from mine. The one on springs with gas shocks was a much nicer ride than the one on full air which was a bit harsh but handled better on tight bends.

I'm sitting here looking at the brochures and thinking about a trip to USA with a view to importing. Has anyone on the forum done this and is it worth the effort and are the savings as much as they appear to be? If I decide to go for one and can't haggle a deal in the UK I would like to do it and tour the USA for a while before exporting home has anyone tried that if so what are the pitfalls?.

Hi Ror

Was that the "Cayman" Ror?

Hi Jim
Yes "Cayman" full air which apparently is better when loaded.
"La Palma" springs and gas.

Both have same chasis running gear engine and g/box

I would need the air to show off at meets, that big Hissssss sounds great:BigGrin:

I absolutely adore the whistling noise the engine in my Monaco Knight makes!

Hi Doug
I see you have a Monaco.
You may have noticed from the threads I may be looking to upgrade and I really fancy a Monaco. What is it like to own? is the build quality as good as the sales pitch would have you believe? If I look at secondhand what problems should I be aware of. Are they worth the money?

Hope you don't mind all the questions but I would appreciate some advice.
Thanks
