Well the inn is sold and we have been emptying the flat over the last few weeks finished and we are now full time. Van is full dropping a load of stuff off at storage. Then a so slow drive south and catch ferry on the 14th

Good luck.
Be aware 14th July is Bastille Day in France ( if that's where your heading ) so a bank holiday. Some shops closed and traffic.

For once, I am going to say, I hope it’s not too hot when you go.
If it is, I suggest you hang around the north coast of Spain which is lovely.
Happy travels.

We have just begun full timing too, will be visiting family whilst we try out wildcamping, Britstops and a couple of campsites - then head off to France on 7 th July. No plans except intend to be around Valencia by the end of August, so our paths may cross. Quote from my husband today ' everyday is a Saturday or Sunday'

Don't come down just yet. It's too flaming hot. 44°outside.36 in van. Had to use campsite to get electric for fridge and fan and guess what fridge not working on electric due to extreme heat.

We live in Spain but not in July or August!!!

Even in the north it can be hot but don't even consider the Med coast.

Enjoy your new life. We have been full timers in our Celtic Rambler Fifth Wheeler for 2 years now. Spend the summer in England then first winter toured Spain with this winter being spent in Portugal. Love the life
