Its the Tour de Yorkshire and it passes close to York and Selby both of which are not far from Wetherby Ken. Also stages over the North York moors including Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Pickering. This will mean increased traffic throughout West and North Yorkshire. We saw loads of bunting, bikes and banners around Whitby last weekend.

We should be safe then.
Getting up into France tomorrow and Bordeaux area day after!

In a spot called Jaca top of spain. Worth a visit for the pentangle shaped castle, nice town and monastery.

Off to Blighty? How long are you there for Ken?

@Dazzlin
Where have you parked in Jaca ??? I have only ever passed through or stopped for fuel/ food at the Eroski up on the main rd... Worth noting for future trips. (y)

Car park at the bottom of hill on way in. Coords in camperstop book(tolerated parking), ask if you need them, but there are two other vans here in nearby spots.
Following your route back home via the Sommeport tunnel. Thanks for the info download about a year ago!

Err just read the itinery.....nowhere near Wetherby as far as i can tell!!!
As said above, Ken, York & Selby aren't far. Problem is that if it is the same as last year the knock on effect of road closures and traffic can spread for several miles around the actual route.
