Popped out to our local Screwfix at lunch time and spotted this parked up on the verge.

Would it merge into a woodland background with its camouflaged leaf patterned sides and yes that is astro-turf on the bonnet, roof front, and back at the top.
Looks like a seating platform on the roof.

This is great.
Serious question guys, as a new motorhomer, nearly a year now, Why are MOST vans in white?
Is it just for financial reasons, or because white copes with heat better?
It's something that has always made me think?

I quite like it, takes stealth to another level and no worries about the odd scratch.

What is the covering on the overcab and bonnet, astroturf?

As you have said white copes with the heat an does not date as quickly as some colours

Very different.
Agree, that looks like a seating area up top, wouldnā€™t fancy it tho after a few G&Ts
Wonder if the branch hung on the back has a use
To answer Johnnygooner, I think itā€™s cos white reflects the sun

Thought it was cool. Custom designed for the owner.

Not one I would have, but love it anyway.

No accounting for taste is there.

Recon it would burn well on a bonny.

Lots of folks quick to judge someone elseā€™s P&J.

Itā€™s even as if not as if they posted the pics of it.

Bearing in mind many of us like myself mostly camp off grid (legally) and tend to avoid organised campsites like the plague.

Iā€™ve often thought about the benefits of having a van that would blend in to a woodland setting.

Perhaps not this one though

Even the driver is camouflagedā€¦šŸ˜Ž

I did not see him when I took the photo but noticed him when I came to post the photo, he was probably thinking what's that berk doing parked up over there with a camera hanging out of his window. :ROFLMAO:

Could it be an Indian Take Away van?, I noticed that floc wallpaper on the sides almost immediately.
Its also obvious to me that the stick on the back is there for a purpose, so maybe its a huge Cinnamon Stick and the bark is used for flavouring. (y)
The grass effect roof terrace is there should you wish to "eat in", orders are taken through the Heki roof light.

Shame there is no telephone number, I would like to place an order, especially if he was parked up close to me somewhere.:giggle:
Genius Idea eh?:giggle: No Business rates or council tax to pay,=higher profit margins.(y)

LES :imoutahere:

Known in the trade as a SHED.....but I'm sure it's owner loves it....or has a white stick.

Parked outside his house he probably feels safe on home turf.
