Not even back a week and want to get out again!

Came back Sunday from a great 8-10 days round some of Ireland including a couple of nights with my parents. I want to go back again already!

Ireland April 2022

Some photos of our 8 night trip round half or Ireland in April 2022 which included Easter weekend. Not a single night at a campsite, some at harbours with honesty boxes. Best week in Ireland I've had in the 33 years of leaving my home country.

Good to see you got to Benone beach, I was there last year on a sunny weekend and there was never more than 10 vehicles on the beach!
Had that beach been on mainland I’d doubt if there would have been space to get on the beach

I've just come back from a two week visit to Greencastle Donegal. Had brilliant weather. I was there to get the dogs EU pet passports and to sort my parents grave out. The beaches were empty and superb as usual. You can't beat Ireland when the sun is shining.

There were certainly more than 10 during the day time and into the evening but overnight there were only 4 of us in total, you're right though, if it was over here it would be mental and somewhere to avoid like the plague.

Sad to be sorting out your parents' grave but glad you got good weather for it.
I've been over here now since '89 and usually get home to see the parents a week a year since and usually twice a year latterly but this is the best weather we've ever had when we've been.
I'll definitely be back to several of these beaches again in September Im sure.

I gave up and basically kept them outside and tried to towel them down but invariably the three of them having a good shake inside the van would still lead to splashes. Can't be arsed getting too stressed about it, carpet soaks a lot up, throws on the seats etc
