If you don't want to pay for one, don't have one, simplesHaven’t been on here for awhile just thought I’d try and book a few nights away but find it very annoying that you have to pay extra to put the awning out why?
fair comment jim, ground sheets are a real killer.I'd charge £10 quid extra a night for an enclosed awning and still feel it was not enough.
I have a pitch that is still showing the marks left by one caravan and a 10 day stay with an awning and groundsheet last year.
No and no.Does a wind out awning with no sides or groundsheet constitute a charge? Should it be declared?
That’s interesting . I have to admit I have never compared the prices. Every day a school day on MHF lol . Thanks for the info .Yes. They have awning and non-awning pitches but charge the same for both.
The very first post by jerrym started the discussion. So who is charging extra then ?
lol i read that but I have no idea what club or campsite he refers toThe very first post by jerrym started the discussion.
Neither do I.lol i read that but I have no idea what club or campsite he refers to
Agreed, it is an expense not needed. After an awning and ground sheet have been used for a while the grass looks horrible. I don’t blame them for changing extra all things considered.
If its reseeding thats bloody expensive grass seed once a year.
An extra tenner a night doesn't cover the cost of the 3Kw fan heater on full chat all night that nobody ever uses!I'd charge £10 quid extra a night for an enclosed awning and still feel it was not enough.
