As Jean has had a stroke we have not been to any rallies recently, sold the motorhome as it was not being used. However intend getting another when Jeans degree of mobility has hopfully improved, that will determine type of motorhome we have. Hope to see you all next year.

Best wishes to your wife on her recovery.
My wife has worked on stroke wards for a number of years and tough love is what you need. Her recovery will be better if you can get her out doing things even if at times she doesn't want to. For example with male patients they would would put a bowl and razor in front of them and tell them to shave themselves. The easy approach was for the nurses to shave them but that route doesn't lead to an early recovery.
What I'm trying to say is get her out in the (new) MH as soon as possible!

Wishing Jean a good recovery, and good luck with your hunt for a suitable van, think the lay out of the van will make a difference to your pleasure in using it.

Sorry to hear this, hope Jean's recovery goes well, onwards and upwards, and you're both able to get back to what you enjoy just as soon as you're able

On and off for many years.
Good wishes for a speedy recovery.

As others have said it's important to do things. I was told to the point of discomfort and no further, to sit and do nothing bad.

All the best to you both, as others have already said, its a long (at times very up hill) road you are travelling..........but with the goal of another M/home at the end, a worth while one.

All the very best.

Thanks for all the good wishes. Jean is making progress, can now walk with a stick for short distances (50 yards) with me at her elbow. she is very determined to improve and is working hard daily on exercises and trying to do normal things, when she is able to use her right arm and hand it will make things easier. Looking forward to getting another van and getting out and about. Its a great incentive to Jean.
