Just as a clue the last time we saw mizzly rain like this we were in Todmorden and forecast is for similar until Thursday.

Hey but we do have the choice to head as far south as we need to until we meet the sun again

That's the theory. The "sun" can be mighty fickle as we found in June. An extra 1000 miles with heads glued to internet weather and just about made it. I think the rain locked on to our internet connection and followed us across Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia. Eventually, when we hid under some trees in Rimini it lost our scent.

Ah yes, THS at Blackpool, Shrewsbury Show, THSs at Bridgnorth, Llangollen & Settle with the sun beating down apart from a drop of rain the first day in Blackpool

Mind you we did have a prediction at Settle - "It'll all end in a thunderstorm". Wonder where that came from?
