Just about to rip hell out of our daughters' house in South Norwich, 25 miles from ours. Bad enough but just realised the major roadworks in our village are going to cause a lot of difficulties.... So... is there anyone that has (or knows of) somewhere we can live in our van for a couple of weeks nearer to our girls. With parking for a car too and a 7' trailer AND longer shot, ideally, somewhere we can store a kitchen (not flat pack it is in our garage just now) You can only ask can't you? OK some may laugh Jane

There used to be a nice little CL behind an industrial estate in Drayton. It was cheap and cheerful, we used it for nights out in the city.:Cool:

Cheers you two, we are not members of the Caravan Club (just the other one) we looked at a CS but it was really muddy and a bit of a chore to get to. We have decided that our daughters will have to work round us and we are going to park in their garden. Reckon we may as well use one of our marquees for own use, we take them all over for Fun stuff, and put that up and store the kitchen in there. Hopefully being on site we will not be so cream crackered (or, we will work longer days oh Take care, Jane

I used to us the one at Drayton although cheap it was very basic, however I now spend most of my time on a CS just outside Norwich about 2 miles from the airport on the A140 in Hainford, has most of what you want, car and trailer would be no problem but don't know about the kitchen, might be worth a phone call or a visit to see the owner, the site is called Milestone, owners name is Martin Barrett, it is listed in the caravan and camping book or on the website, also has a shower/toilet and free to use washing machine,quite handy after a day's work
